New Blog Theme
My first attempt at a unique theme using Artisteer, I am 90% happy with the theme, I can’t quite put my finger on it why it just doesn’t quite do it for me at the moment so I shall have another mess around in a few days and see what I can come up with.
Blogging Tips – Artisteer
One of the important facts I have learned over my years of writing money making blogs is get your content sorted first or at least started and then worry about the eye candy. In the early days I would spend hours, days even searching for a wordpress template which I liked the look of. As funds got better and my sites started to make some money I would invest in the odd paid for theme, I probably own a dozen now but even then they are never quite exactly how you want them to look.
More recently I discovered a nice piece of software called Artisteer. It allows you to create wordpress templates from scratch or via a collection of templates that can all be altered and combined, very easy to use and it creates some nice results.
So why am I mentioning this software, am I going to provide an affiliate link and try and sell it to you? – NO. The reason I am bringing this up now is simply because if I am lucky enough to have anyone reading this blog now in its early stages you the surfer might be wondering why I haven’t done anything yet with the basic Twenty Ten theme. Over the next few days Artisteer will be launched once again on my desktop and I shall create myself a nice new theme for the RISTAC blog.
